376 <h3>Pawn peculiarities</h3>
379 <li>Pawns capture differently from how they move (straight
380 move, diagonal capture).</li>

386 be captured en passant by another Pawn, as if they had only

408 <li>It is not allowed to expose your King to check.</li>
410 <li>The game is won by checkmating the opponent's King.</li>

418 <p>Cylinder Chess must be played with legality testing off, as
419 XBoard does not understand the wrapping of the board.</p>

425 <h3>Strategy issues</h3>
427 <p>It is not possible to force checkmate on a bare King with just
428 a single <b>Rook</b>,Bishop or Knight (in addition to your own
429 King). Two Knights and Bishops in any combination cannot do that
430 either. (Because the board has no corners, forcing checkmate has
431 become much more difficult.)</p>
433 <p>Bishops are confined to squares of a single color. Having
434 Bishops on both colors compensates this weakness, and is worth an
435 extra 0.5 on top of their added value.</p>
437 <p>The Rook and Knight hardly benefit from the cylinder board.
438 The Bishop, whose moves normally often end on the left or right
439 board edge, does benefit some, and a Queen gets very
